There are a number of different reasons as to why couples choose one particular venue over another when deciding where to hold their ceremony. Venues range from Churches, Register Offices, hotels, museums and country homes.
The Register Office is a good idea for those wanting a small or simple ceremony, couples who have no strong religious beliefs, or those who are from different faiths. If choosing this option, it is advisable to contact your local registry office so they can advise you of all the requirements / legalities.
The Civil Wedding offers many similarities to the Registry Office, only it offers more flexibility and freedom, unlike the Register Office,
couples are allowed to have photographs taken, and aren't necessarily restricted as to the number of guests allowed.
The church Wedding is more of a religious ceremony, and in a way has a lot more legalities attached to it. In order to have a Church Wedding, couples must not have been married before, and you may also be required to attend wedding classes / calling the banns.
